As Master of the Worshipful Company of Upholders; in the year we are celebrating the 400th anniversary of our first
Royal Charter granted by Charles I, I have decided to run a Grand Raffle.
As you may be aware, the Livery Companies raise millions of pounds each year for a wide variety of Charities. The
Upholders Charity provides bursaries for students, awards prizes for their course work, offers travel bursaries,
supports retired trades people in need, as well as supporting other charities and causes connected with our trades
and the City of London.
As part of my year, I have arranged a Grand Raffle, with tickets being sold between September 2026 and February
2027 at our many events, to enable the Upholders Charity to have as great an impact as possible. Many lovely
